Our Aircraft Weight & Balance Calculator is an Excel-based tool designed for aviators and aviation enthusiasts to easily compute aircraft weight distribution and center of gravity. With an intuitive spreadsheet interface, users can input their load data and instantly receive accurate calculations for safe and compliant flight operations. Ideal for pilots, flight schools, and anyone seeking reliable weight and balance checks right from Excel.
We need a calculator to handle aircraft weight and balance. The calculator needs to visually show the load limit graph, and show the result of the calculation, indicated within the graph. The load limits need to adjustable so that it can be set up for any aircraft, with a variable number of load limit graph points, and with a variable (or adequate) number of moments that can be captured.
So, essentially, a simple generic weight & balance calculator for which all the inputs (including the load limits) can be dynamically captured.
There are plenty such calculators available online, but we need one that we can run on an off-line Windows computer.
The code needs to be done in VB.Net, compatible with .Net FX 2.0 onwards, and we will need the source code.
It is of course a huge advantage if you are already familiar with this type calculation, or even better if you have already done something like this.
The calculator and calculations are admittedly actually quite simple, but the goal is to have a visual representation of the limits (a graph), and then the combined weight and moment in relation to the graph.
